Child Care Centre

• CWIT provides various healthcare services like consultations, specialized treatments, major surgeries, therapies, physiotherapy, counseling, nursing care, and other forms of medical care to children in its child care centre at Vishwabalak Kendra, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
• The physical and mental growth, health, diet, and meals of the children under CWIT’s care in the child care centre are regularly monitored, and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Children with special needs are given specialized treatments and therapies: i.e. physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to treat developmental challenges faced in physical, fine motor, and speech domains.
• They may be treated for 1. Delayed milestones 2. Joint and spine deformities 3. Recurrent chest infections 4. Delayed speech 5. Impaired intellectual ability.
• Therapy interventions are aimed at early identification and treatment of these problem areas so that issues can be minimized.

Community Centres

• In addition, CWIT also conducts medial camps, programs, checks ups and workshops in its community centres. These community centres are in: two slum areas in Rabale (Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra). and at former quarry sites in Nerul (Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra).
• Eye checkup camps, cancer awareness sessions, TB awareness sessions In collaboration with the local Urban Heath Post (UHP), HB, CBC, Vitamin D, Vitamin B-12 checkups, personality development sessions, and workshops related to the nutritional requirements of adolescent girls are some of the various healthcare services that CWIT provides to the children and adults in the communities under its care.
